How Housebright expects to make money
Research costs money to produce, and we would rather explain the business model than pretend we do not have one.

The model
Housebright may earn a commission when a reader requests a quote through a partner, or buys a product or service via a link on this site. Where that applies, it typically costs you nothing extra compared with going direct, though we will say so on the relevant page rather than expect you to assume it.
Commercial relationships do not determine our editorial conclusions. A partner does not buy a better verdict, a softer caveat or a higher position. If an upgrade is a poor fit for your home, we would rather say so and lose the commission than help you spend several thousand pounds badly.

What we will not do
We will not present a commercial partner as an independent recommendation. We will not remove a warning, a limitation or an unfavourable calculation because a partner objects to it. We will not publish fabricated prices, savings, reviews, ratings or customer numbers to make a link more tempting.
We will not run a quote form that implies your details are going to installers when they are not.
How disclosure will work in practice
- 01Any page containing a paid or commissionable link will say so on that page, above or alongside the link, rather than only in a footer.
- 02Partner content is never presented as an independent recommendation, and a partner is never ranked above a non-partner because of the commercial relationship.
- 03Editorial conclusions, caveats and calculator outputs are written before any commercial arrangement is considered, and are not revised to suit one.
- 04We publish no reviews, ratings, customer numbers, savings figures or prices we cannot source.
- 05Readers can always go direct to a provider. Nothing on this site requires you to use a link of ours.
