What this site does with data

Figures you type into a Housebright calculator are processed entirely in your own browser. They are not transmitted to us, not written to a database and not retained once you close or refresh the page.

There are no user accounts on Housebright and no sign-up. We do not currently operate quote request forms, contact forms or newsletter sign-ups. If we add any of those, this page will be updated first to say what is collected, why, how long it is kept and who it is shared with.

Like any website, requests to Housebright are handled by hosting infrastructure that processes technical information such as IP address and browser type in order to serve pages and maintain security. Where we introduce analytics, we will describe the provider and the purpose here, and we will prefer privacy-respecting measurement over intrusive tracking.

Housebright does not set advertising or profiling cookies. If cookies or similar storage become necessary for a feature, this page will list them and their purpose.

Under UK data protection law you have rights over personal data held about you, including access, correction and erasure. Because we do not currently collect personal data through this site, there is normally nothing for us to hold. If that changes, this page will explain how to exercise those rights and how to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
