Housebright is a UK research and calculator website about home-energy upgrades. Everything published here is general information. It is not advice about your particular property, your finances or your circumstances, and it does not create any professional or advisory relationship between you and Housebright.
By using this site you accept that decisions about spending money on your home remain yours, and that you are responsible for verifying anything you rely on.
Calculators are estimates, not quotes
The calculators on this site perform straightforward arithmetic on figures you enter. They run in your browser and are illustrations only. They are not quotes, not surveys, not technical designs and not financial advice.
Results depend entirely on the inputs and assumptions used. Actual generation, consumption, tariffs, degradation, maintenance, installation costs and export terms vary, and outcomes in practice will differ from any figure shown here.
No guarantee of savings, suitability or payback
Verify grants, tariffs and installer claims independently
Grant schemes, eligibility rules, deadlines and tariffs change, and they differ across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. Where we summarise a scheme we state which nations it covers and when we last checked it, and we link to the official source.
The official source is authoritative over this site. Always confirm the current position with the relevant government body, scheme administrator, energy supplier or qualified installer before making a financial commitment.
Third-party links
This site links to third-party websites, including official government and regulator pages. Those sites are outside our control. We are not responsible for their content, their accuracy or their availability, and a link is not an endorsement of any product or company.
Commercial relationships
Housebright may in future earn commission where a reader requests a quote or buys through a partner. Any such relationship is set out on the affiliate disclosure page and disclosed on the pages where it applies. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial conclusions.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
The text, calculators, layout and design of this site belong to Housebright unless stated otherwise. You may read, print and share pages for your own personal and non-commercial use, and you may quote short extracts with a clear credit and a link.
Please do not republish substantial portions of the site, scrape it at a scale that affects its operation, attempt to interfere with it, or present our material as your own.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This is a plain-English summary rather than a solicitor-drafted contract, and we do not publish company registration details we do not have.
